The Mukherjee Fellowship is a full-time programme that provides an opportunity to young graduates and professionals to work with senior political leaders and policy makers at the heart of Indian politics and policy.
Mukherjee Fellows work on political strategy, legislative research, media communications, election campaigning and undertake many more impactful responsibilities transforming how India is governed.
The Fellowship opens doors to a future in leadership, public policy, and political strategy consulting. Post their initial training, Mukherjee Fellows have gone on to work in the offices of Chief Ministers, Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State, Members of Parliament and senior political leaders contributing significantly in matters of policy making and political strategy consulting.

Mukherjee Fellowship

Accelerating India Fellowship
Accelerating India Fellowship is a one-year immersive program designed to support exceptional individuals in producing book-length works that explore critical issues across culture, society, technology, economy, and politics. These works aim to contribute actionable ideas, historical insights, and visionary pathways to accelerate India's development and leadership in the 21st century. Along with generating such frontier ideas, another important goal of the Fellowship program is to nurture the next generation of bold young thinkers who can reimagine India’s trajectory through fresh, dynamic, and impactful approaches.

ICPC Internship
The Introduction to Political Consulting (ICPC) Internship, offered by the Policy, Politics and Governance Foundation (PPGF), is a paid, three-module program designed for students and young professionals exploring careers in policy, politics, and governance. It is ideal for final or penultimate-year students seeking real-world experience in public policy and political consulting.
• Module 1: A self-paced online course covering Indian democracy, electioneering, economic policy, macroeconomics, the Constitution, and parliamentary processes.
• Module 2: A one-month offline internship with a political campaign or legal research team drafting government policy.
• Module 3: Provides select interns the chance to work directly with political leaders and ministers.
With a stipend of up to ₹20,000, ICPC offers hands-on exposure to the functioning of political campaigns and policymaking teams. Interns gain practical experience and a real-time understanding of India's political landscape.
The program blends academic learning with on-ground experience, making it a strong foundation for those pursuing policy or consulting careers after graduation. With over 25 successful batches and 600+ interns placed so far, ICPC is a proven launchpad into India's political ecosystem.
